Nicholas R. Cayer

Advisory Board

As an Advisory Board Member, Stage Harbor welcomes Nick and his diverse background in both the financial technology and financial services market.  Nick is currently a Partner at Great Hill Partners where he is actively responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities in the financial technology, business services, and software sectors. Nick serves on the board of directors of AffiniPay, BlueSnap, Confirmation.com, Chrome River Technologies, NMI, Paytronix, and Vanco Payment Solutions. He formerly served on the boards of Accelerated Payment Technologies, FirstCall Healthcare, and PayChoice, and as an observer of Custom House.

Prior to joining Great Hill Partners, Nick was an associate at CCP Equity Partners, a growth equity capital provider to financial services and health care services companies. At CCP, his responsibilities included screening and evaluating potential investments, executing transactions and working with existing portfolio companies. Prior to CCP, Nick was an associate at GE Commercial Finance’s National Restructuring and Retail Finance Group, where he was involved in executing and managing senior secured, second lien and distressed debt transactions.

In his role as Advisory Board Member, Stage Harbor leadership will not only draw from Nick’s notable professional experience but also his personal experiences.  Like many families we partner with, Nick faces a financial planning landscape that is ever-evolving.  His input will consistently challenge Stage Harbor’s approach to providing financial advice, the delivery methodology, and the inherent experience that is associated with them.  Stage Harbor and Nick share a view that this evolution presents an opportunity rather than a challenge.

Nick resides in Needham, MA with his wife Stacey and three beautiful daughters.
